Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! We are looking forward to an eventful and rewarding year for students, staff, and parents. The Eisenhower staff and I are dedicated to provide your children with an outstanding curriculum and a wholesome learning environment.
Success in school depends on the cooperation of staff, parents, and students. With this in mind, we ask for your assistance and support and we invite your suggestions and ideas. If for some reason you feel something is interfering with your child’s progress, please arrange a conference with your child’s teacher.
Several important factors, such as regular attendance, good nutrition, and adequate rest can elevate your child’s level of success in school. We encourage you to consider how important they are. One thing you can do to help your child be successful at school is to find the time to read to him or her. The time you spend with your child(ren) is one of the greatest gifts you can give.
The school’s policies and procedures have been developed to promote a positive atmosphere for learning. If you have any questions regarding any of our policies, please contact the school office. Let’s work together to make Eisenhower Elementary the best it can be!

Visitors/ Volunteers: If you are planning on visiting students during the day (i.e. lunch, recess, or volunteering in the classroom) you will need to fill out a background check form and have it sent in and approved before any volunteer services or visiting. Please contact the school office for the background check form. The safety and well being of our students is a priority and that is the sole purpose behind the request for background checks for all visitors.
